The Aftermath: Zombie's Revenge is an annual haunted house featured during Fright Fest at Six Flags New England. It is located in the River's Edge Picnic Grove.
Story[]
Sometime prior to 2014, a zombie outbreak occurred in Hells Gate State Park, but luckily it was quickly eradicated before things got worse. After the incident, the Park Rangers were trained in case of another outbreak and issued weaponry for the purpose of zombie hunting.
One night, a few campers reported hearing vicious growls that they believed to be a rabid animal. Deputy Lynch, a park ranger, was patrolling the grounds when the report came in, and fearing the worst he quickly went back to the Outfitter Shop to get some gear. When he got there, all the windows were broken, ammunition boxes were thrown about, with footprints leading out of the building towards Lake Take-A-Dip, where the deputy could hear screams. As Deputy Lynch headed for the exit, a mangled fist punched through the wooden wall, followed by another from the other side. He then ran out and into the nearby lodge, and he could hear a horde running behind him. He hid inside, holding his breath and hoping that the zombies would leave him alone. He turned to the right and saw his boss, Ranger Redmond, freshly bitten and slumped over dead. This was his final moment, before the zombies broke in and hunted him.
