A guide to how articles should be formatted. This does not cover ALL types of articles.
Attractions[]
Haunted attractions, scare zones, and shows use the {{Attraction}} infobox template.
Headings/subheadings should be as follows:
- Description — Any official, published description of the attraction from a guide or website.
- History — The history of the attraction, noting any notable information and key changes.
- Backstory — The official backstory of the attraction, pieced together from official sources.
- Experience — A play-by-play description of the experience. Subheadings may be needed for different versions if significant changes are made year over year.
- Characters — A bulleted list of the characters which appear in the attraction. The name of this heading can be swapped if the park the attraction is at has their own name for characters, like Freaks at Six Flags St. Louis.
- Gallery — Visual content related to the attraction.
- Videos (subheading) — All relevant videos including POVs, preferably from reputable and notable sources.
- Images (subheading) — All relevant images.
- Soundtrack – A gallery of the songs heard in the attraction. They are ordered by order of appearance, or if the order is not known, by alphabetical order by artist name and then song name.
- Trivia — A bulleted list of facts that may not be notable enough for other sections.
Characters[]
Headings/subheadings should be as follows:
- History — A complete real-world history of the character.
- Biography — A complete fictional biography of the character.
- Appearances at Fright Fest – The appearances of the character. Including all attractions.
- [Subheadings] – There will be subheadings depending on the park(s) the character appears in. These subheadings will have links that lead to the event page but are named for the park, so for example, Six Flags Magic Mountainn.
