Fright Fest Extreme (stylized as Fright Fest EXTREME) is the 31st Fright Fest event at Six Flags Magic Mountain. It is one of two parks to hold Fright Fest Extreme, the other being Six Flags Great Adventure. The event runs on select Thursdays through Sundays from September 7 to November 3, 2024.
With five new haunted attractions based on horror media intellectual properties (IPs), it is the largest expansion to Fright Fest in the event's history. The new IP-based attractions are shared with sister park Six Flags Great Adventure.
While not part of Fright Fest Extreme's core offerings, the event will coincide with the FANTA Bettlejuice Beetlejuice sky show on September 21 and 22.

Trivia[]
- On the original press release for Fright Fest Extreme released on June 25, 2024, it was stated that the event would run from September 7 through November 3, 2024, for "32 nights of fright."[1] The start date was erroneously displayed as September 19 on the Fright Fest Extreme website, with the calendar on the Six Flags Magic Mountain site also giving a different date of September 20. These were both later corrected.
- Six Flags worked with third-party RWS Global for Fright Fest Extreme.
- Six Flags Magic Mountain is not getting Texas Chainsaw Massacre like Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Over Texas, and Six Flags Great America. This was not explained at first, though Universal Studios Hollywood later announced that it would be getting The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface for Halloween Horror Nights 2024.
